This city has totally captivated me. It’s stunningly beautiful and cosmopolitan in a way that Portland is not. Although P’town life is more my speed, traveling to Seattle always gets me giddy enough to give up my sleep time and burn out every possible minute. Today started (at 6am) with 40 minute intervals on the elliptical at the gym, and then I don’t think I ever stopped walking. Six miles maybe? Woooweee, the legs! They burn!! I toured Capitol Hill with Juanita and Hazel and hiked over with Ty to Mario Batali’s meat shop, Salumi, for incredible sandwiches. And ever since that lovely respite, we’ve been in full-blown high school student mode.

Haha. I love the cop with his leg up, drinking his iced coffee… puckering his lips?! Creepy awesome.
I can’t get that sandwich in my mouth fast enough.
That photo of the croissant is absolutely lovely!
Thank you, Allison! I LOVE your blog… my friend Ben Latterell told me about it. You’re an inspiration π
