Spent the day with Ryan in Madison. I threw some pots in his ceramics studio on campus, and then we had dinner with friends at the Weary Traveler. Sadly, I did not workout. I did, however, wander aimlessly up and down State Street in the snow for awhile… that was lovely. Otherwise, too much indulgence for one day. I’ll blame it on vacation.
Dinner was SOOOOO good. Scallops on spinach, zucchini and tomatoes with a roasted corn/bacon vinaigrette. I’m really excited to make this at home, as bacon has been a recent staple ingredient to flavor Kaitlyn’s Southern dishes. A little bacon goes a long way.
